On one of my other posts on this forum I've listed a quick and dirty of my approximate light throttle settings. I also reduced the torque management 10% across the board and that helped quite a bit, IMO. It took me 4 tries (documented each shift schedule so I could see where I was going and what worked) to get it almost perfect for me. It's easy to figure out though, but will probably take some experimenting on your part to get it set the way you desire. separately.Īs far as guidance from SC, I asked the question in their forum and they said it'll be up to the user to decide how to set things up, since there are so many variables and not everyone wants/needs the same shift schedules. The SC update site loaded 3 new updates plus the ATT app. I use the same (91) modified tune on mine and also hadn't updated since I purchased the SC back in January. If you don't remember your settings, go into your current advanced tune and go through all the options and it'll tell you what your current settings are. It only adds ten or so minutes to the overall process. Omelet, I don't think you have to go back to stock first, but I DID, and I would recommend it, just to be on the safe side. They used to be a little rough (surge) and jerky, but are now a lot smoother.almost like stock. One other thing that is greatly improved is the MDS on/off transitions. If the Superchips folks could provide us with a detailed explanation of each parameter and recommended settings with their results, it would sure be great. I also don't know what the, "shift down" settings are suppose to do, so I haven't touched them yet. The only thing, so far, that I'd like to do is further raise the light throttle 3-4 shift point up to about 40 mph. Not knowing how this is suppose to work or what adjustments should be made (no instructions or explanation included) it's kind of tough to figure out how to set it up correctly. The MDS is on almost all the time now (about 85-95% of the time.light throttle), and will stay on through the shifts most of the time, even under slight acceleration, and on slight hills. All light and WOT shift points are higher and more firm. Speeds driven were from 25-55 mph in city and rural environment. All I can say is, WOW! Just got back from a 25+ mile test ride with the new settings. I just loaded them on my 06 Hemi GCO, setting all "shifts up" with reduced torque management. settings are included in the newest updates, if in fact this is the new programming. Disregard my earlier post on being unable to find the new trans.
